ADULT POTTERY WHEEL & HAND-BUILDING CLASSES

At Vita Art Center’s Ceramics Studio, you will find a warm, inclusive community of clay enthusiasts. We offer pottery wheel classes and hand-building classes for all skill levels, led by experienced instructors who foster creativity and craftsmanship. Whether you’re a first-time potter or refining your technique, our classes provide individualized guidance in a supportive environment. For more independent makers, we also offer studio memberships, granting extended studio access and use of professional equipment so you can work at your own pace. Members and students alike become part of a friendly group of potters and ceramic artists who encourage and inspire each other.

Exciting News: Later this year, our ceramics program is expanding into a new 3,000 sq. ft. studio next door. This spacious facility will feature two dedicated wheel-throwing bays – one reserved for members and one for students – so everyone has the room they need to create. The new studio will house a state-of-the-art kiln room with one gas kiln and two electric kilns, greatly expanding our firing capabilities. This growth means more wheels, more kiln space, and an even richer community experience. We look forward to welcoming you into our ever-growing clay family at Vita, where creativity and community come together.
