Enjoy the intersection of art and language in this generative poetry workshop facilitated by

poet Laura Mullen. Your session begins with a contemplative approach to viewing art that

encourages deep observation and personal connection. As participants immerse themselves in the

visual world of the exhibition, they will gather impressions, emotions, and ideas—and engaging

exercises and creative prompts will help transform your observations into vivid, expressive

writing.

Materials: bring something to write with or on, and a camera (smart phone) to take pictures of the

artworks that inspired you (in case you want to continue the creative dialogue at home).
